Subject: [Puptcrit] Liege vs. Sicily

Dear friends,

I have a note from a workshop that traditional Liege rod puppets used
in the Charlemagne stories only have a rod to the head, whereas the
Sicilian variety also have a rod to the sword arm. Is that correct? Do
the Belgian variety not have arm rods traditionally? The battles must
be wild affairs. Any references, leads, or recollections would be most
welcome.

Thanks so much,

Jamie Ashby
