We've a little bit of experience with some rather shady characters and have gotten little work out of them...but this person is not flaky and is an artist I respect, who seems to have a good head for business...I am willing to give him a try, but we've got to get things ironed out ahead of time. And of course I've got all my own advertising etc in place as well. Has anybody given agencies a few dates a month and said book these, the rest I'll get on my own? ----- Original Message ----- From: <DRAMA711-AT-aol.com> To: <puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org> Sent: Sunday, September 07, 2008 2:38 PM Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Agents!? > we've dealt with several agents over the years (including "young > audiences" > not a typical agent and bluemont concert series also not typical) and I'll > almost guarantee that you'll get so little work in the big picture that > it's > nothing to count on.
