After this period the details of the invention can be freely exploited by anyone, which in turn in suppose to inspire new innovation built on the back of previous work. There is no way to legally patent an invention without disclosing details publicly; if I had a secret or unique process that was not an easily copied commercial product I wouldn't patent it, I would just keep it a secret. - Andrew On Mon, Oct 6, 2008 at 12:00 PM, <puptcrit-request-AT-puptcrit.org> wrote: > Message: 4 > Date: Sun, 5 Oct 2008 13:36:59 -0400 > From: Mathieu Ren? <creaturiste-AT-primus.ca> > Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Topo Gigio & other puppet patents /plus > thoughts about the unp... > To: <puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org> > Message-ID: <8E6C657E7DE941B0A051ED30425A16D6-AT-critter1> > Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; > reply-type=original > > > The Hazelle patent shows up on e-Bay periodically.
