Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Panic inducing warnings

A careful re-reading & study of the New Testament (and history books)
indicates that Jesus Christ's arrest and crucifixion (as well as the
same fate for other unfortunate Jews) was the Temple Tax. To put it
into contemporary terms, Jesus was arrested, tortured and put to death
for religious tax evasion.

A convenient excuse for the things he said that scared the hell (pun
intended) out of the Jews and Roman's in power.

The more things change, etc.
