For Mary Robinette Kowal & all puptcritters who can access NBC televisiion--

your help in alerting your friends & colleagues to tonight's HEROES is most welcome.

It won't be the first time I have watched something on a TV or movie screen for the background rather than the foreground.

I just hope that Mr Doyle, the evil control freak/puppeteer does not remind any of you of any actual puppeteers.

ALAN

I'll have to look for it. Alan, may I repost this on my website? I
think it will be fun for people to look for the puppets.

Yours,
Mary

There were 3 VERY BRIEF clips of Mr Doyle at the end of last week's program. But I was told (for what it is worth) that tonight is Mr Doyle's puppet theatre scenes. Mr Doyle is a plump man, appearing with the cheer leader Claire, her adopted mother and her birth mother. I have no way of knowing what else gets mixed in tonight, but please look for puppets in the background: some marionettes including a clown and stage prop barn & windmill from Bob Baker Marionette Theater, 26 marionettes from my collection at International Puppetry Museum including a large Clippo hanging on a post. If you see any European hand puppets, they are from Steve Meltzer's Santa Monica collection.
