Subject: [Puptcrit] Storytellers

Susan Reed recorded folk songs which were a kind of story telling. Her father, a fine actor, related tales from a graveyard (a famous work, and rght now having just filled 8 trash cans with weeds, I cannot think of the title. Anyway, one night in Greenwich Village I sat 3 feet from him as he became one character after another. And I have sat that far from Bruce Schwartz as his puppets related stories in song or words. That close it was still convincing.

Beng paid or not has nothing to do with the story being well told--it is TALENT and study, but I sure think talent is deserving of pay, especially when I think of certain mediocre persons being overpaid (Bush-Cheney and Wall Street CEOs come to mind).

"The servant is worthy of hire".
