To meet puppeteers, you may also try to visit the Jockey Club Creative Arts
Theatre. Check it out - it is an old factory turned into an artist village
with more than a 100 groups/artists here in a 8 storied building. Among the
groups is the Centre for Community Cultural Development which is run by
myself (I have been involved with giant puppetry, Czech marionettes etc.
with persons with diabilities), Hoi Chiu - mask and puppets whose email
address is, Hong Kong Puppet and Shadow Art whose
artist director is Wong Fai, email and Mime Touch whose
artistic director is Wong Kwok Chung - they do mime and puppetry and glass -
There are of course many other puppetry groups or artists involved in
puppetry...I guess you won't have time to explore it all.
