I had missed it the first time. Here's the link again (From Randy Ross), for those who would like to read the fascinating 13 page article, in PDF format. http://lists.puptcrit.org/pipermail/puptcritattach/attachments/20081109/69801f79/attachment.pdf By the way, Randy was the first one to bring up the Cheap Art manifesto in this conversation. I just mentionned I also had it on my wall. My favorite part so far, and I'm not even halfway through reading it, is: "making art that rehearses the future we wish to help into being". The text so far is sending shivers down my spine, and it's not just because the appartement is still chilly while it's heating up as I turned on the heaters for the first time of the season. It's making me re-evaluate my ways of looking at what I'm doing, and how I see my existence and myt choices. I'm very intellectual and technical in my approaches, and I admit it's much more reassuring to think about the world in terms of scientific methods and proven techniques. And yet, i'm very chaotic and sensisive, which you can guess causes a lot of confusion in me and my environment! _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
