I love to see the behind the scenes! Do you guys use a combo of live voices and some voices on the soundtrack? did you perform all the voices? I really liked the singing lesson's comical portions, must be fun to perform. Do you get carried away with it sometimes? I can guess the audience loves it too! This may be of help for your next production, if you use paper mache: Did you know you can use a layer of wet paper (paper towels or facial tissues) as a first layer on the clay, to serve as a release? It's not as easy and practical as using plastic wrap, but it works ok too (more clean-up work on surface, and on clay), and is more ecological. Advantages of plastic wrap: perfectly clean result inside the paper shell and no residue on the clay later, and easiest release when separating from the clay form. With a proper release (Wet paper or plastic wrap) and firmer clay, such as the Chavant NSP soft or the Roma Plastalina soft (or cheaper oil-based clays such as Giotto Pongo or Klean Klay), all you need to do is to cut the shell in half, and pry the parts open gently. No need to dig out the clay and damage the model, which can be repaired or reused as a base for another character, or clone or variation of same... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Puppet People" <puppetpeople-AT-nycap.rr.com> To: <puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org> Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2008 12:08 AM Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Hey check this video out Hey mathieu: No I haven't tried anything but Youtube. I have it linked to our website so clients can check on a show. We do a a myspace account somewhere maybe I will put it on there. Thanks for the Idea. Also I would reccommend anybody who is a performer to start posting videos of your show on your website. We notice a large spike in booking after we started them. They are also fun to edit, i use the Pinnical software and it works great.
