Hey Critters;
Thanks for watching our new video, got some great comments. I probably
wont get the next one out until after Dec. so again thanks.
Also thanks again for all your war stories this past weekend, it really
made us feel better and part of a large and understanding family.
Regarding Brad's question about the audience noise, I went back & forth
on if I should keep it. I decided to go with it mostly because I wanted to
show that this program isn't "scary". Believe it or not we have a lot of
sponsors who wont even think of having this show because They think it might
frighten the children, (like we would make a show that would do that). So I
kept the noises to reassure our customers that it is a fun show. It's the
same reason there is no shot of The Headless Horseman in the video, other
than the title. (and I really wanted to show him, his neck glow red and the
eyes of the horse does too). So I will keep it as it is for now but Thanks
again for the comment.
Mathieu, yes we use a prerecorded soundtrack for our performances.
Michelle plays the voice of Katrina, and I provided a couple of scary noises
during the show. The reason we do that is because I am not that confinant in
doing live voices, ( I am more a puppet builder than preformer) also we know
a lot of good actors up here who are better at voices than I am. Also we
like to mix in all sorts of sound effects & music in our show and we can't
do that live. Michele and I alway argue about its pros & cons of this.( I
know for a fact she would love to do the voices live, but I am to much of a
chicken) Funny thing is when we have done TV adds or promos I am fine doing
the vioces, I guess it must be stage fright .
Well I have gone on way to long so see ya, and again thanks all of you
for the support.

Mark

Fantastic!
Really great humor, I love your horse!

One suggestion, on most of the performance clips, the audience noise is
probably taking away more than it adds. If this isn't entirely in the can it
might be great to re-record the dialog and lay it over.
