Subject: [Puptcrit] Famous People Playrs

Famous People Players headquartered in Canada, have toured widely and appeared on TV. They appeared in Las Vegas with Liberace and provide training and employment for mentally challenged people. They learn to animate puppets for responsive audiences---the feedback is important and posiive. The sad news about Bob Baker Marionette Theatre financial problems reminds me that currently Bob has been refurbishing some puppets made for Famous People Players.

Bob's theater is the longest running puppet theater in Los Angeles and an extremely important part of our local puppetry history. Bob has taught puppetry classes, trained numerous puppeteers, manufactured several lines of toy puppets on his own and for clients such as Disney.

Bob has endless credits for TV and movie work.

To add to local worries, there are multiple active wild fires in Southern California which have already destroyed hundreds of homes in multiple areas. This will also add to economic woes.

Some days positive thinking can be hard to maintain, but roses will still bloom and we cannot lose sight of that.

There is a company called Famous People Players.
I don't know if they cater to adults only, but they do work with people with
disabilities.
