Mathieu,

That particular costume is mostly for publicity purposes, photo/video shoots. However, I did wear it for Halloween at a swing dance event this year. I find that wearing something like that forces me out of my shell. I don't wear the tuxedo every day -- that would be smelly. As an artist, I want to reveal something about myself and take people to new places, and I enjoy using fashion as a tool to engage the imagination.

Yes, I've recently been thinking about the impact of the first impression.
Maybe that was part of why I asked the question.
I think I'll try to look a bit less silly when I go on dates. Ladies don't
usually seem to go for the silly.

Still, I'd need to keep some sillyness activated, because I wouldn't want to
start soething with someone who turns out to be no fun or too conservative!
