I have been on the road for 30 years, and it has gotten old. I, too, wish I could snap my fingers and be home. Today is a first for me. I have two New York City library shows, and I will be going through all five boroughs of NY. I start in a half hour from Queens, across the Whitestone Bridge into the Bronx for my first show in Riverdale. Then I go across the Henry Hudson Bridge into Manhattan, down the entire 12 mile length of the borough, across the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel into Brooklyn, across the Verazzano Bridge into Staten Island for my second llibrary show this afternoon. By the time I return home this evening, I will have spent $18 dollars on tolls, with five bridge and tunnel crossings. Incredible!!! For a bit of shameless self-promotion, my new book, "Diary of a Doll Wiggler," is chocked full of thirty years of war stories from the road. You'll laugh...you'll cry...you'll relate. It is available through the puppeteers of america website or through amazon.com. Bob N ************** Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and favorite sites in one place. Try it now.
