You're right about the tripods - too many legs. Now I am considering plywood cutouts - using Korean hinges for the long, back piece. Then I can just cut windows and put rear projection screen in them for the front ones for the shadow puppets. I could hold those up with French braces and sand bags.... The shadow puppets are flat - regular shadow puppets, not dancers. If each panel is 7' x 4' or smaller, I can fit them in a mini-van........
