When you need a bigger sphere-like shape for your paper mache projects, here's a simple solution: use a "punch ball". It's a thicker, bigger version of the regular latex balloons. The ones I got were sold as a "party favor", they have a weird shape before inflation, but do get to be sphere-like once inflated. They have an ebedded "hook" at the top of them, which has an elastic, ence providing the bounce-back effect required for a punch bag. I share this because I stumbled upon them in my refridgerator today. I forgot about them in a closed compartment (for butter, I think) that I never use. They've been there for over 3 years, and I just tested one: still flexible, and inflated without a problem. I guess the tip of refrigerating balloons really works. I read that on a clown's website. _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
