The only requirement to get the members' price for the festival is that
you have paid dues for the current year.  It doesn't matter if folks
have their member number yet.  So people can join P of A (which we
strongly encourage them to do) and register today at the "early bird"
price.  They can put a question mark in the block on the registration
form that asks for their member number.  When they receive their
membership card, they can login back into their festival registration
account and enter the number.

 

People who receive scholarships from P of A or a local guild do not have
to register yet.  When the scholarship recipients are announced, they'll
receive an email from me with special registration instructions.  We'll
get one check from P of A for all of the scholarship recipients (at the
early bird price).

 

We'll also be emailing folks who applied for a scholarship but were not
awarded one.  We'll offer them, for a limited time, the option of
registering at the early bird price.

 

So, if you have applied for a scholarship from P of A, do not worry
about registering by tonight's deadline.  We'll be contacting you as
soon as we have the information from the scholarship committee.  Either
you or P of A will still qualify for the early discount.
