At Lowes and home depot there is a shelf of paint people forgot or decided not to pick up. It is dirt cheap and they often have tinting colors as well. It is great for scene painting aand all kinds of things. I like to make packing boxes and glue canvace on it and paint it with house paint (Luman Coad tip). You can also take it to the paint guy and as longa as you assure them that your not too picky they will add tints to it to adjust it to your needs. I have a scene painter friend who uses these materials exclusively. It is very economical too.
