However, if you want to save money, tinting the latex paint with acrylic paints is not the best way to go, as acrylics cost a lot more. I recommend getting some artists pigments, either in powder or in liquid dispersion (water). I rarely buy pre-made acrylic colors, (except for white). I prefer to mix my own colors starting from a good quality acrylic gel medium or acrylic liquid medium, and add powdered pigments, to the saturation I need. It saves me a lot of money, and I have total control of my colors, from the very start.
