the gentle man i speak of is the insturctor of teh clay dept, but he and i
spoke about 2 years ago, and the banff had a residenciy from a mexican
artist, and thus began a few years of this man studiying and working with
paper clay... this gentleman is the department lead for the clay dept.
and yes we spoke of ratios and content and drying time and delicacy, of the
different needs of different artistic endeovours.

he referenced me a reading list. i will look this week for the list of
readings.  Also seek a mexican artist who did a residency with mbanff maybe
four years ago and works exclusivly in paper clay, that is with a small clay
content.
