The brands I tried were: Liquitex, Stevenson, and a few cheaper house brands. Thanks Paul for the suggestion of the "sun block" fabric. The support does make a huge difference, and we sometimes overlook that factor, trying in vain to compensate with paints and exotic methods. I think rolling larger instead of too tightly would help prevent crack damage. Putting the roll inside a rigid tube (cardboard or PVC or ABS) could help prevent edge bumps and other mishaps during travel and handling. _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
