Thanks Kath,

Etsy is on my list of things to make work for me.

I just think it's ridiculous how they force users to have a credit card to
have a store.
I don't want credit cards in my life, but am constantly getting obstacles
from big online businesses who don't show any flexibility in payment
options.

Etsy lets buyers purchase with Paypal, they should let the sellers pay their
fees with the same!
Oh well. I thought I could find a loophole by using pre-paid debit cards
from the credit card companies, but I found out that only one such card is
available in Montreal, for some reason.
Hopefully I'll be able to get it, because right now, there is no plan B.

I'm a satisfied customer of Paypal. It took a little bit of work to make my
account qualify as "verified", since I don't have a credit card, but now
that it's done, I have had no problem purchasing and sending money. One
thing I find preposterous in today's world, is that it still takes 6-8
business days for money to get transfered from a canadian bank account to
that of Paypal, and vice versa.
In the nineteen eighties, millions could already be transfered via the
phone, in swiss bank accounts and the like.

Big corporations are very sluggish organisms that only evolve by sudden
bursts, often much later than reasonable, when forced to, or when they see a
profit to be made.

Oh darn, I'm ranting again.
What was in that tasty chili I just ate???
