Mark my words: the more liberal the area, the greater your chance of getting hammered if there is anything scary or violent. Wow ! What a goldmine of info ! Thank you ! To clarify..yes we hope to make this a profession, at least part time anyway. We live in a very liberal region with a great interest in myth, legend, folklore and the unusual. In this region there are also a lot of yearly festivals that take place celebrating these things as well as all things other worldly and pagan. There is even a local weekly craft market where folks sell their art and play music. We plan to develop a show that will celebrate and inspire beauty, myth and magic. We hope to travel at certain times of the year doing a busking style show on the streets of various cities. I have lived and traveled this way before, though selling different handmade things. In addition we will develop a small show more suited to libraries and the local alternative school. There is a large Waldorf schooling community and we figure seasonal, nature based puppet shows would work well there. Yes, I do know it is a steep hill to climb but I have to start somewhere and I do not have a regular day job to speak of, so why not. After spending many years trying to figure out how to best turn my felted dolls into puppets, I am finally ready to take this next step.... ~ Pixie -- Enchanted Gypsy ~ Travel Diaries http://www.enchantedgypsy.blogspot.com/ _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
