    Yes I too listen to audio books while working at my studio. Also old 
radio shows are great to listen too.
    I have also found that they help me when I have to write a script. I 
pick up more of the structure of writing when I listen to a book than when I 
actually read it. That doesn't mean I don't read anymore (I do it every day) 
but I have found having more than just music on while working helps motivate 
me and excites my imagination.
