Subject: [Puptcrit] Chez Motel!


Its time again for Chez Motel!  It has been a long day here in Jax FL
so we're going to feature the cheap and easy. meal but first:   6am
alarm  a decent egg sausage biscuit in the breakfast room of the Best
Western and then I'm off to a 8am set up at a Montessori school.  The
GPS works great and I'm early. Though as I begin to set up I am told
to move to the room next door. My K-6 show is more than half pre-k who
finally settle down midway thought Three Billygoats Gruff.  Lets not
talk about the Q&A.  Now its a scramble to get to the 2nd school where
as I'm setting up I get a call from another school who is thinking I
should be there instead so  losing ten minutes of set-up time dashing
to the car (in a panic)  for the paper work and then getting locked
out and having to take the long way through the front door turns out
they were wrong.  It has been a long day so I swing by the grocery
store and pick up a nice multi green pre washed bag of salad greens.
1/3lb of you peelum shrimp and a cheapbottle of cocktail sauce, I
brought a nice baslalmic vingerette along on the trip:  1/2 " basalmic
1 1/2"olive oil, splash of maple syrup, salt garlic powder and a dash
of dill in a mason jar (doesn't need a fridge) Some pretzels from the
vending machine make great crutons , 6 pack of beer Mich ultra amber
for that expensive beer taste for under 6 bucks, Larrys frozen bacon,
onion mash potato two pack (under $3) Turn on the food channel to make
it taste better and instead of a puppet project tonight,(enough is
enough) I recommend  Alan's essay on Puppet guild meetings in the
50's.  It's almost 7 and I'm ready for bed. But I would be amiss not
to remind you to set the alarm before the beers and leave a bottled
water at your bedside.  Bon appetite! and good night.
