Just to make it clear I drank only two of the beers and won't even bore you with the frozen pizza I'm going to nuke later on. I do find it interesting though how people do the food thing on tour. Merce Cunningham swore by rice cookers. It is so hard to eat well and healthy without it being a big production on tour. Please anyone do post your recipes and approaches to eating at the motel. Here's one thing I find refreshing. I bring my own coffee grounds to the room as they smell great and are SO much better than the "stuff" they give you. Also When I get a kichenette for week long stays, I bring fresh rosemary sprigs and Garlic and olive oil and after the first meal there is a pleasant aroma when you walk in the room. Big improvement. Motel living, especially solo, can be very depressing. I decided years ago I had to shift it or quit. Nice to have the "critters" along too.
