Good idea, pvc tubing! Totally sweat-proof!
Do you insert it inside your neck, or is this the neck itself?
Dos it reach all the way up to the top of the head, to be glued there?
If you cover it in paper mache, how do you prevent them from separating?
How do you prevent the puppet from slipping away from your fingers when they
get sweaty inside the pvc tubes?

Yes, two fingers in the neck allow for more strenght (in the case of heavy
heads) and some head turning. I made a prototype once, where there were two
tubes in the neck. The motion of rubbing my fingers together made the puppet
turn its head very swiftly. This system forces us to make the neck a bit
wider though. I still have the test. I got distracted with other projects,
haven't made any more glove puppets since then. One problem remains to be
solved: how to attach the inner sleeve to thisspecial neck without it
preventing the head-turning movement?
