We see most things via reflected light. But when we look directly into a source that emanates light, according to scientific researchers, human brain waves are different. Staring at a light source, like a campfire, fireplace, television, computer screen is an intrinsically different experience than staring at anything seen via reflected light. Add content to the experience of emanating light and you can get imagination, relaxation or learning (good) but also passivity and brainwashing (bad). Watching a film projected on a screen is different that watching a video emanating from a light source. The short film by the brilliant Godfrey Reggio, EVIDENCE is an experiment that demonstrates how watching TV effects young children. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuI_nCADnW0 - m j m _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
