Just my opinion, but I think people should contact their elected and  
appointed officials at least once a month (once a week even better)  
and ask them something or tell them something. Invite them to  
performances. Make up awards to give them (politicians never stop  
campaigning & love recognition & awards). Get 'em on an advisory  
board. Let them show up and introduce your show or remind the audience  
to turn off their cell phones.

Small screens (computer, netbooks, pod things, cell phones) are an  
expanding market for puppetry.
