I think Hobey is referring to the brass fastener that has a round head and two flat legs, much like the fastener inside a folder, but with its own head. I rarely use these for working (show) puppets, but I do use them for workshops puppets so maybe I should pick up some boxes while/if they are still on the shelves. Thanks for the heads up, Hobey.
