Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] preserving puppetry information

In the recent discussion of Pelham Puppets' limited release of a CARROT TOP hand puppet with moving mouth, I thought there might have been versions of the other three puppets from LILI also made by Pelham, but there are no such puppets on any list of Pelham Puppets that I can find, so it looks like Carrot Top was the only one.

Currently on e-bay a seller in the UK had relisted a Pelham Carrot Top which lacks striped shirt and a jacket. Seller called the movie LILLI instead of LILI, and said it was a DISNEY MOVIE, which it was not. It was MGM

Yesterday I saw DISNEY's PINOCCHIO at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood---the last day of the run. The film is 70 years old, and I saw it during its first release. If that does not make one feel older, then nothing does.. The new print was beauiful to see, in the original boxy format (not widescreen)

Pinocchio will soon be issued in Bluray format.
