Hi Ann.

Diversity for me is something of the utmost importance.
I'm sure most of us in the Puppet world know what it's like to be different,
in one way or another.
Maybe it's the calling of the unusual career, maybe it's the high emotional
nature of creators that other people don,t understand.

Some of us may have struggled with being different for a long time, maybe
still are.
I sometimes wonder what it would be like to be "normal", but then I realize
how that concept of normality is a myth.
One group's nomal is another's abnormal.

Nowadays I enjoy my differences, and am thrilled to discover it in others.
Of course, some differences get along better with each other.
Nothing in nature says we have to be in good vibration with everything, but
I'm sure there's something about respecting life and balance.

Here are a few aspects of diversity that I think are important:

Diversity is essential to life.
Nature understands and applies that principle.
Bio diversity is what ensure the continuation of life, the survival of every
species through evolution, therefore everythintg keeps changing, at whatever
rate is necessary.
There is no true purity, no true uniformity.
Nature keeps experimenting on itself.
We are part of nature.
THerefore we are diversity incarnate.

The sooner we embrace that, the better for us and our world.
