Christopher was dreaming up a program to edit one's email before sending.
It's called "cut and paste". As long as you know the keyboard shortcuts, you
can do it in seconds.

For example, on a pc:
1-read email.
2-select the text portion you need and copy it to the clipboard (CTRL-C)
3- hit reply button
4-click once in the message window.
5-select and delete entire message body, by pressing CTRL-A, then DELETE.
6- paste the selected text you had in the clipboard, by pressing CTRL-V

Add whatever you want, and hit reply.

The keyboard shortcuts are similar on a mac, although the CTRL is replaced
by the Apple button, I think. It's been a while, although last night I
dreamed I had to change the settings on an old Mac Performa, but I didn't
use keyboard shortcuts. Sorry.
