Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Its Finished!

So go ahead and start videotaping. Have your puppets read the whole
thing. Leave some pauses between sentences for ease of editing. Do a
litlle adlib if you want after the read through. Use a tripod. The
better the quality the better this will turn out spread the word to
other s as well. We aree not all on pupcrit. They don't have to sign
up, just get the tape to me by the deadline. Please send mini DV
format tapes to

Hobey Ford
62 Ballard Branch Rd.
Weaverville NC 28787

or send digital files (mp4 and jpg files) to

The deadline is April 20th

Again send an additional skits, interview with a puppeteer, a quick
"how to" or promo clip under 5 minutes and imbed your contact info.
All entries must be your owned by you and copyright free. Stay under
5 minutes with these aditional add ons. I will tack these onto the
letter on a DVD and offer them for sale at the National Festival or by
mail. Profits will go to the International Museum of Puppetery in
Pasadena and you can buy them at wholesale and resell them yourselves
at retail or use to as you will.

The finished letter portion will be aired at the National Festival in
Atlanta. DVDs will be available then too. The Youtube spot will air (
the letter only) May 1st. (I hope)

We did it together! Now start spreading the letter be sure to use the
most recent draft. It has been chaotic so there are lots of drafts
running around be sure to have the one posted today which includes
website references and "Kukla" spelled correctly as it is here. Lets
make it go viral! (spread it like gangbusters)

MAny of you had great suggestions which I value, but they didn't all
get into the letter. Writing by committee is hard, but all things
considered , chaos and all, it is a better letter for all your input.
