Have you tried your guild and members re:  stage designs?  Our guild 
had some stage designs on file, Paul Vincent Davis shared his 
designs, Mary Churchill's are also on file (Boston Area Guild).  You 
need to find what works for you, if it needs to be really fast to set 
up for birthdays, if it needs to accommodate a castle or detailed 
set, overhead work or scrim, shadows as well as glove, make sure it 
fits your height. Most people I have found, are willing to share a 
design if you ask.  That aluminum stage sounds ideal.   Re: glove 
pattern - I revisited the Latshaw pattern - it is originally designed 
for just one finger in the head, so I must have messed around with 
it!!  My memory is going I guess.  sigh..  Diane K.
