I've had a better success rate for getting my contracts back, save stamps, etc. Some may say I'd be taking a chance of it standing up in court - but then again - would I really get my money back if I had to hire a lawyer from not being paid? I also ask for the fee due date of show. I am a solo regional puppeteer - and have not had trouble. Perhaps on a National or International touring it would be prudent to make sure and have at least a faxed signature as follow up?? Anyone else accept electronic signatures?
