I HATE it when schools make themselves so authoritative on things they don't 
even understand.

Mastering paper mache? In a school?
Preposterous! Almost impossible, considering what they usually think of as 
paper mache (crap crap crap and more crap). Real paper mache is much easier 
and light years more advanced than the smelly paper covered baloon.

And to limit a child's progress like this, it's criminal!

I'm so glad you and her dad were there to counter the school's iresponsible 
actions.
