It's become hard, even for me, as addicted to it as I am, to sort through the list. One BIG reason for it is that some people re-name threads, probably to make them more appropriate to their contents. Some even correct titles for spelling, or to remove a word, or a complete rephrasing. But what happens with this is that we get multiples threads talking about the same main topic! So, who do we reply to, in which thread, and should we reply on both? Yikes! Holy Fractal Propagation, Batman! Before branching out with new Titles, we should really ask ourselves if it is truly necessary. I've been reducing my postings a lot lately, trying to wait till the end of the day, to reply to a thread when aware of what most have said about it. You know how enthusiastic I can be, so this effort is not easy to maintain! One other thing: we should try to reply to people personally for single word or sentence replies, such as "thank you", "cool", "thanks for sharing", and "I agree". I've seen a lot of people over the years either refuse to join Puptcrit for the sheer volume of emails, and others quitting suddenly because the postings have gotten intense. Let's try to manage ourselves a bit better. Every effort counts. _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
