Subject: [Puptcrit] Bil Baird's 'Alice'


I would like to know if there is an existing script and/or a recording of
the music from that production.  It would be well worth studying.  I've
always been interested in "Alice" as something to adapt, but frankly,
never found the emotional thread of the story.  The book is one crazy
episode after another - each one quite independent from the rest.  There
is a plot, but there's not much suspense.  Every adaptation I've seen
seems devoid of that quality, and that's important.
