Hello Critters;
    Just saw Basil Twist's Dogugaeshi to today, really interesting stuff.
Was wondering if anyone else out in "Critterland" has seen it?
    I got to talk with him after the show and even saw back stage. The stage
was really interesting, simple and austere to the audience yet quite
complicated backstage with some great ideas on scenery and scene change.
    The show itself was mostly movable scenery, projections and shadows.
Very simple and very affective with great lighting and Japanese music. It is
one of those shows that will challenge what you think as "puppetry".
Basically when does a prop become a puppet?
     If you get the chance try to go and see it, it's not your everyday
puppet show.
