SF guild members may have more up to date info on that than me. Ken Feit is another legendary name that has come up before on this list, who passed through the Faire shires. Giant puppets there included a group that was said to have spun off of Bread and Puppet in the early 70s. The giants you remember seeing in processions were probably Gog and Magog, built by the Faire's design dept. in imitation of the ones from that group.
