I was wondering if anybody out there tried gelatin glue, specifically for paper mache projects, or similar application (bookbinding perhaps?). Is it possible to use that kind of glue without heating? Or if it has to be heated, does it smell bad? I was going to try food-grade gelatin (one brand is Knox). Since it comes from the same ingredients as "animal hide glue", which is supposed to smell bad, I'm a bit worried. I love my work! So I'd rather use ingredients and techniques that don't disgust me, thank you very much! _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
