I enjoyed it a lot. I have just come back from the health food store, I bought some corn starch from the bulk section. Small quantity for starters, see if I like it. I've been used to white glue and similar for ages now, but something in me is pulling me towards the healthiest possible materials and methods. All for good health, ecology, and non dependance on specific complex products. For a long time, I had wanted to work in Neoprene for mask making, mostly for time saving purposes, but the costs and schedules of devlivery (not in winter) were way too prohibitive. Most of the cool high tech materials were out of my range in my beginnings, so I became a specialist in paper mache. I do pretty much what I want with it now, strenght-wise and appearance-wise. But now's the time to improve even more, by getting back to basics, and reworking them. I've been admiring Bread and Puppet's creations online for years. I almost got to visit your Museum two years ago when I was in Vermont, but a scheduling conflict made it impossible, and broke my heart. It's mended now. But someday I'll go take a look in person! I'd love to see a show first. My best works, most of it is paper mache or contains some: www.creaturiste.blogspot.com _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
