Thank Hobey for the advice. I forgot to ask about those criterias when 
testing the machine.
I did think about bringing some wood though.


Don't be too jealous about the Drill Press, I very rarely use it.
I'm pretty good with a Dremel and even my regular drill, to pierce holes 
straight enough for my uses (so far).

But I know it comes in handy when I need ultra precision (holes for eye 
mechs, for instance).

The Drill Press will certainly be awesome and necessary when I have the band 
saw, and start making marionettes and other mostly-wood puppets and projects 
(want to sell some small trinkets too).

I got the Drill Press about 2 years ago in exchange for some graphic design 
for a friend's portfolio and business card.  He actually had an extra 
drill-press, isn't that mind boggling?
