An artist performing at the White House is one day out of the artist's life (maybe 2 days for transportation). And unless the residents of the White House pay out-of-pocket, tax payer dollars would be paying the artists' fees, which would potentially raise a big stink and add more fuel to the fires of right wing talk radio. Plus, any artists invited to perform for free at the White House can always decline. Linda ************** Recession-proof vacation ideas.
