Subject: [Puptcrit] Plato & Platonic views


What I remember from college philosophy courses---Plato wa something of an idealist. "Platonic" implied an idealistic approach to love or whatever else, without the messy day-to-day actualities of our humaness. So negativity is not the message---positivity is. Norman Vincent Peale delivered a later version, garbed in Christian phrases..
