Subject: [Puptcrit] Peter Arnott

There were a lot of influences that worked on me.
One was Peter Arnott.....and seeing Oedipus in the 60's.
One was the first festival I attended in 1976.
Personally don't really care who is a part of the organization or not. It
does amaze me that everyone involved in puppetry does not avail themselves
of the opportunities available - P of A, Unima and Puptcrit. Guess it has
to do with a sort of naivitee but always felt that the bottom line - the
common denominator - is puppet theatre - puppetry. Always felt that we are
all kind of large (perhaps somewhat dysfuntional) family and do not really
understand those that have some sort of issue or who create issues.

Looked at my copy of "Plays without People" this morning. Rod Young's name
was on the inside. That was also a bit of a thrill.
