The glue is good, the latex is good. The glue sticks wonderfully to the latex. However I did not make the fiberglass piece I'm trying to bond to. So it has some mystery ingredients.... I wonder if it might have been made with polyester resin instead of epoxy? We are guessing that it's probably some kind of reaction from the fiberglass chemist mixing with the contact cements...causing them not to bond. Perhaps a polyester resin that didn't completely cure correctly. I need ideas for what I could do to seal the fiberglass so I can bond to it with the contact cement. I'll probably have to strip all the glue off, sand it down a bit, seal it with something that will not interact with the resins in the glass. Any ideas? Ax Steve Axtell Axtell Expressions, Inc.
