Subject: [Puptcrit] Michael Jackson Memorial in Los Angeles


Today was unquestionably a unique event---pop culture simulcast around the world.

Brooke Shields, another who started a show biz career at a tender age, I thought was one of the most effective speakers.

Music by Charlie Chaplin, another major entertainment link, seemed an especially appropriate choice. He too, had a tough time with the press, but like Michael, had fans around the globe and connected with millions.

And a briefly seen photo of our own Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog and Michael, who had a fondness for puppets.
