Subject: [Puptcrit] Puppetry Workshop!

Hello everyone!

I apologize for the mass mailing, but if you are receiving this email
it is because I felt you may be interested in a puppetry workshop for
kids, or might know of someone who is! :)

Jane Catherine Shaw, a puppeteer of over 20 years with national and
international shows under her belt, and I, Marina Tsaplina, a student
of puppetry, are holding several Puppetry Workshops for Children in
the month of July in NYC.

I ran a small private puppetry workshop in Boston several weeks ago,
and it was a great success- the kids and parents were thrilled. And
the New York workshops will only be better!!

More information about these workshops can be found here:

Cathy and I are looking to turn these currently one-time workshops
into an ongoing project/organization.
We both have a lot of experience working with children of different
ages, and we believe in the importance of play and creativity in the
day to day life of every child (as well as adult!)
It is a sense of play, exploration, curiosity, and dedication that we
seek to foster in our classes, and those qualities are intrinsic to
the form of puppetry.

The workshops are inexpensive for the parents and fun, engaging,
stimulating, and also challenging for the kids.

So if you know of anyone- friends, acquaintances, coworkers, who
might be interested in these July workshops for their children-
please pass the flyer and website on!

thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Marina Tsaplina and Jane Catherine Shaw
