I am using it like regular papier mache, forming it around a clay model. I am assuming that it will dry hard, that I will be able to saw it, remove the clay and then reform the seam. Is this approach ill-fated with Celluclay. It does dry hard, right? I assume that I would have to cover it with some finishing product or another layer or two of papier mache. ROBERT - I am not sure I like it either. It is rather expensive too, don't you find? It is quick however (aside from drying) and is like quite a few layers of papier mache all at once. Isn't that the advantage? Thanks for your input... Paul, I'm also not a huge fan of Celluclay (aside from being sticky, I also find it takes forever to dry). If you intend to use it, I've had better results modelling in clay first, creating a negative mold in plaster of paris, and then filling the negative mold with Celluclay or home made papier mache pulp. cheers, Alexander On Sun, Aug 2, 2009 at 10:17 AM, Robert Rogers < robertrogers-AT-robertrogerspuppets.com> wrote: > Paul, > > I always found Celluclay to be very sticky.
